Who am I?

I am an Instructional eLearning Designer with about 5 years of experience creating innovative, learner-centric solutions for local organizations and educators. My process combines a andragogy mindset, an inquisitive approach, and an eye for varied perspectives. My background in science education, Spanish, visual arts, and technology education has equipped me with a unique skill set that enables me to approach complex problems with intentionality. I have developed a strong sense of adaptability and responsibility, allowing me to navigate challenges with ease. My focus is always on fostering learning in others, whether it be through mentoring, teaching, or collaborating on projects. With a diverse educational background, I am able to bring a multi-faceted perspective to any situation and find innovative solutions. I aim to collaborate closely with stakeholders, learners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify key points and design elegant, effective solutions. As an analytical thinker, I approach problems with a broad-picture view, allowing me to identify the best map forward. I gather data and insights, modifying solutions after feedback and user testing. This step-by-step approach enables me to develop adaptive, learner-focused projects that evolve as needs change, aligning seamlessly with both learning and business goals.

My diverse interests and hobbies make me the perfect fit for any job. I find solace in painting, which allows me to express my creativity and attention to detail. My therapy dog brings joy and comfort to those around me, fostering a positive work environment. I incorporate art into my daily routine, using it as a tool for problem-solving and self-expression. Additionally, my passion for teaching science creatively enables me to communicate complex ideas in an engaging and accessible way.
